Article 319 of the Criminal Procedure Law

When the Prosecutor of the respective Court becomes aware of the perpetration of any of the crimes expressed in the previous article, he must personally travel, or agree to have one of his subordinates travel to the scene of the event to contribute to the investigating Judge as best and sooner clarification of the facts, if other equally or more serious occupations do not prevent it, without damage to proceed in the same way in any other case in which it deems appropriate.
