Article 616 ter of the Penal Code

Anyone who, with violence, intimidation or deception, seizes, damages or destroys an aircraft, ship or other type of vessel or platform at sea, or attacks the people, cargo or property found on board them, will be punished as convict of the crime of piracy with a prison sentence of ten to fifteen years.

In any case, the penalty provided for in this article shall be imposed without damage of those that correspond for the crimes committed.
