Article 529 of the Penal Code

1. The Judge or Magistrate who delivers a criminal case to another authority or official, military or administrative, who illegally claims it, will be punished with the penalty of special disqualification for employment or public office for a period of six months to two years.

2. If, in addition, the person of a detainee is handed over, the higher degree penalty will be imposed.
