The authority or public official who demands, directly or indirectly, rights, fees for tariffs or fees that are not due or in an amount greater than that legally indicated, will be punished, without damage of the reimbursements to which he is obliged, with the penalties of a fine of six to twenty-four months and suspension from employment or public office for a period of six months to four years.
