1. The individual who commits in a public, official or commercial document, any of the falsehoods described in the first three numbers of section 1 of the article 390, will be punished with prison terms of six months to three years and a fine of six to twelve months.

2. The same penalties will be imposed on anyone who, without having participated in the forgery, deals in any way with a false identity document. A prison sentence of six months to one year and a fine of three to six months will be imposed on anyone who knowingly uses a false identity document.

This provision is applicable even when the false identity document appears as belonging to another State of the European Union or a third State or has been falsified or acquired in another State of the European Union or in a third State if it is used or trafficked with he in Spain.
